Set amongst lush tropical greenery, the Lake House allows groups to immerse themselves in Sri Lanka’s natural beauty and enjoy the comfort of full western amenities.

We offer a variety of rooms to suit all guest budgets - including both air conditioned and fan cooled options. Our ‘Nature Room’ also features an open air bath that allows guests to unwind and take in the sounds of the surrounding wildlife.

Each of our six rooms can offer a double bed or twin beds upon request. All rooms provide full western amenities with hot water, an ensuite bathroom and either a shower or bath (room dependent). Four of the six rooms have A/C, the other two are fan cooled with each room featuring an open air balcony. Locally sourced shower gel and hand-wash is also provided alongside bed linen and towels.

Local Transport

We actively support the 'Rosie May Foundation' - a local charity that provides pink Tuk-Tuks driven by single parent mothers to help support their families. These can be arranged for you by our on-site team during your stay in addition to bigger vehicles for longer excursions.
